A Yoga and Wellness Festival Set in The Heart of The Cotswolds
With lifestyle and spiritual wellbeing playing such an important part in our lives these days, the festival scene is finally catching up. Forget rain drenched tents, herds of rowdy teens and mile-long portaloo queues; Soul Circus Festival offers a true escape with yoga classes, a Liz Earle spa tipi, local cuisine and excellent live music.
Settled in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside between 19th-21st August, Soul Circus’ goal is to offer a weekend of tranquillity and a chance for guests to re-calibrate and renew. There will be twenty yoga classes a day, taught by a group of prestigious instructors in three difference ‘experience tipis’ and a lakeside outdoor venue. Throw in DJ yoga raves, meditation classes in a 3D projected environment and exclusive performances from Cirque du Soleil artists for the ultimate alternative festival experience. Traditionalists will also entertained with music from the awesome Fat Hat Collective and headliners The Inexplicables. Having spent the day perfecting their downward dog and cultivating their Zen, revellers will return to their accommodation with luxury loos and shower facilities. In the dedicated glamping village, guests will find fully furnished bell tents with matting and bedding set up with either two single beds, one double or three single beds. Alternatively, book nearby hotel rooms with Soul Circus’ partners, the Lucky Onion Group. Those looking for a more traditional festival experience can pitch a tent in the camp site or park up a camper van in the dedicated plot at the heart of the festival.
In keeping with the wellness campaign, Liz Earle is setting up a spa tent serving a selection of signature services for the ultimate mental and physical retreat. Food and drink will be organic, brought in from home-grown, sustainable caterers such as Whole Foods, The Core , Asparagasm, Cotswold Cider Co. and The Little Gin Company. As well as the onsite food vendors, Soul Circus will put on two lunchtime interacting workshops run by Chef Jay Halford on how to live and cook healthy, delicious food.
Soul Circus, which was recently voted the one of the best festivals by Glamour magazine, is a rare experience; a festival that will leave you feeling healthier and more relaxed than when you arrived. Not to mention a vast improvement to your downward dog.
