Stoke Place Appoints David Jaram As New Head Chef

Country house style hotel Stoke Place announces it has appointed a new head chef, David Jaram.

The stylish four star hotel is highly recommended in the Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide, built in 1690 by Patrick lamb, chef to many English kings and queens. Jaram joins Stoke Place from his position as Head Chef at Country House Hotel Great Fosters, which holds 3 AA rosettes and a Michelin Star for its food. Jaram has an extremely successful background in award winning country hotels and restaurants, including Fishmore Hall in Shropshire, The Greenway in Gloucestershire, Nunsmere Hall in Oakmere and The Close at Tetbury.

The hotel’s restaurant has recently been renovated and renamed the King & Lamb, after it’s founder. The new head chef will not only be responsible for all aspects of food at Stoke Place, he will also be involved in the restoration of the Victorian Kitchen Gardens. General Manager Adam Salter  said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome David Jaram as Stoke Place’s Head Chef. David is passionate about flavour and allowing excellent quality, local ingredients to really speak for themselves”.
