The 9th edition of the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta conducted by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS) , this event will build on the strength of its tradition, with plenty of motor yachts racing around the picturesque British Virgin Islands(BVI) in pursuit of top prizes.Over four days, the exclusive program of events in the BVI. The one of the most opulent and breathtaking sailing yacht charter in the world brings together owners and enthusiasts of both sailing yachts and motor yachts. Turning out to compete in some outstanding racing, the event also provides a host of activities for families of all ages.

On Thursday 27th October, guests will be invited to feast on a sixteen course ‘Kaiseki’ menu, specially prepared and hosted by acclaimed Japanese chef, Yoshihiro Murata. The chef holds a total of seven Michelin stars across his three restaurants in Kyoto and Tokyo and also served as chairman of Japanese Culinary Academy. The delicate feast will be served along a selection of rare and refined whiskies from Suntory at Tokimeite the luxury Japanese restaurant located in London Mayfair.

Kaiseki, japanese Haute Cuisine, known as traditional multi-course Japanese dinner, demonstrating the variety of skills and techniques of the cuisine.

Suntory whiskies were originally created to suit the delicate palate of the Japanese, to enrich their dining experiences. The single malt’s fresh and gentle smoky nature is a natural partner to seafood; Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve has been chosen to pair with the opening assortment of starters, and the Hakushu 12 Years Old with the sashimi platter.

Hibiki’s elegant, complex and profound taste profile blends beautifully with subtle flavours, such as Hibiki 17 Years Old with the delicateness of the Japanese Wagyu beef.

Yamazaki, a deep and multi-layered whisky from Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery, is a wonderful companion to rich, grilled food. The succulent, fruity flavours of Yamazaki 12 Year Old complements the delicate grilled lobster and truffle perfectly. Whilst Yamazaki 18 Year Old’s full-bodied taste profile, contrasted with the mildness of the Hoji-cha ice cream, makes the perfect end to a Japanese dinner.

Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa has partnered with Dom Pérignon to create an indulgent island experience for epicureans, available exclusively at the legendary Mauritian hotel.

Residents of the three iconic Beach Villas will be offered access to the Dom Pérignon Butler Experience, a dedicated butler available to serve the prestigious champagne to guests, anytime, anywhere.

Guests will be greeted upon arrival – whether by private jet, helicopter, or limousine – by their Champagne Butler, who will then be on hand throughout their stay with decadent Dom Pérignon and gourmet canapés created to complement the delicate vintage. Should guests wish to sip perfectly-chilled Champagne by the Beach Villa’s private pool, on the resort’s private island or on a luxury yacht excursion, a Champagne Butler will be available around the clock.

Hermès new Haute-Bijouterie IV-Continuum to be presented from September 5 to October 8, 2016

On August 4, 2016, Hermès showcases its new haute-bijouterie, gold and silver collections designed by the brand’s creative director Pierre Hardy. The collection will be open to public from September 5th to October 8th during the biennale des antiquaires, at the bijouterie space of the Hermès store located at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris. In a setting conceived by the French artist and architect, Didier Faustino, Hermès presents an installation of twelve modules, twelve time capsules that blend haute bijouterie and jewelry in gold or silver- the insolent Chaîned’Ancre Punk, Niloticus Ombre, openwork crocodile scales in gold,  and the Attelage d’Or, inspired by Hermès’ equestrian roots.
