The Aemyrie Igneum outdoor wood-fired oven is much more than just a barbecue. Standing proud at 1.4 metres high and 1.5 metres wide, and capable of cooking delicious food for 30 or more guests, the Aemyrie oven uses a world-first, intelligent temperature control mechanism which automatically adjusts to ensure all food is cooked precisely. An extremely versatile cooking tool, Peter Walsh explains “This allows both food lovers and professional chefs alike to create everything from a steak seared for seconds, to melt-in-the-mouth meats which have been smoked at very low temperature for 20 hours or more.”
Still not sold? State-of-the-art ‘Aerogel’, developed by NASA, allows the Aemyrie to have a ‘safe touch’ exterior, even when operating at the maximum temperatures, and the high heat feature allows the oven to become self-cleaning, meaning any residue carbonises and can be simply swept away. Able to use a variety of fuels such as briquettes, pellets, charcoal and solid wood logs, the fuel system is able to achieve both ‘hot and fast’ and ‘low and slow’ smoking. For an extra touch of luxury and a flavour experience you won’t receive with any other oven, chefs can add oak, cherry, apple, hickory or any other woods to complement the food, creating a perfect culinary experience every time.
